ExCite Poetry is the UK Poetry Society Stanza for East Devon.

What do we do?

ExCite exists to increase the number of opportunities in the Devon area to read, listen to and learn about contemporary poetry. ExCite runs regular open mic readings, assists local writers and publishers in hosting and advertising book launches as well as running competitions and poetry workshops.

Interesting in joining or attending events?

Stanza membership is free and you do not need to be a Poetry Society member to attend any of our events, although it often earns you discounted entry.
